• Users must be 13 years or older to use WorlioWorlds
• Spam, abuse, or malicious actions against the servers or other users is prohibited
• No circumventing bans, boots, or suspensions
• Conversation in GroundZero must remain appropriate for most ages
• Do not wear inappropriate avatars in the presence of minors
• Do not guide minors to inappropriate worlds
• During an event, please be mindful and respect the rules of the HOST and their participants
• Do not abuse our service to bypass individual mutes
• Do not attempt to bypass, trick, or dodge HOSTs
• Do not abuse the WorldsMail

Staff reserve the right to boot users at any time. If you believe you've been treated unfairly, do not hesitate to contact us.

Guest Server / Gippsland

Since Gippsland has no administrators, it is near impossible to moderate. Instead of providing rules, here are some recommended steps to improve your experience within the server of chaos:

• Avoid clicking links in chat unless they are from a domain you trust
• Get used to muting users and disabling whispers
• Do not rely on users keeping access to the same name
• Use a unique unidentifiable name
• Designate meeting places for people you want to hang out with in other worlds

Improvements

While WorlioWorlds tries its best to remain faithful to the original, there are a number of changes done to improve several aspects of our service.

Better web interface and account management

The website is much more straightforward and easy to navigate, and it is simplier to view and change account information.

Working SharedState

If you're a worldsbuilder, this will be exciting. SharedState allows sharing the state of objects within the world to other clients. An example of this can be seen in the Tama Soccerfield:

This is usually done by setting the "Sharing Mode" property in an object to 3, although other options can be supported. Choose a unique world and room name for your shared objects and make several saves. While Shared State is functional, it can be often buggy and break worlds with it.

If you are on versions 1890-1904, you may need to apply this patch. If you've never applied a mod before, you can follow these instructions.

Cleaner Universe Map

The universe map has been updated to fix a number of broken entries and include a number of other worlds.

Fixed and custom worlds

There are more custom worlds available for download, a number of official worlds have been fixed, and previously hidden worlds are now downloadable.

Fixed and custom avatars and textures

There are more custom avatars available, both articulated and holographic.

Working avatar LODs

If you set DisableLOD=0 in your worlds.ini, certain articulated avatars will be at lower quality the further you are, improving performance on older machines.

All original assets should work as intended if not better.

FAQ

Q: How do I join?

A: Follow the instructions under "Get Connected" on our front page. After you've completed the steps, the process to register and log in is the exact same as on Worlds.

Q: Do I need a Worlio account to join?

A: Absolutely not! WorlioWorlds is its own seperate service and as such, is handled independently.

Q: What features are working?

A: All of them! We support everything the official software did.

Q: How many accounts can I have?

A: You can have a total of 3 accounts attached to your email address.

Q: Can I log in with my old account?

A: We do not and will not have any old accounts. You must register a new account.

Q: How do I obtain VIP?

A: You already have VIP. VIP is completely free and never expires for all user accounts. If you are missing VIP, contact support.

Q: Do I need WorlioWorlds in order to chat with others?

A: Yes and no. In order for you to chat with any other users, you need to connect to a server. WorlioWorlds is one such server.

Q: Are there any events?

A: Check the Calendar.

Q: Can staff read whispers?

A: Only administrators can read your chats and whispers, which is only done in the case of reports or security. Server logs are kept for 7 days.

Q: Can I use Tor?

A: Yes, you are allowed to connect through Tor. If you're having issues connecting, try changing your exit node.
